She stepped shyly into the room. “Hi boys.” She smiled, moving towards them slowly. When she reached them, she held out her hand to Audrey. She knew a small amount of sign language from when her mother had taken care of an exchange student for her sister.

The word hello was quickly signed before she placed the cookies gently on the older girl’s lap. “Before they devour them all, I thought you would like some.”

Audrey gave a bright smile when Quinn signed to her, her eyes flicking to Ethan as he signed the next words from the blond girl. A soft giggle passed her lips as she signed a quick response, Evan voicing her words. “Thank you, pretty flower. Goodness knows the boys would eat these cookies up like air if they could.”

Ethan gave Audrey a mock offended look and signed quickly, grinning despite himself. “We are Tweedles, White Rose, not human cyclones.” He nudged their sister lightly, drawing another round of giggles from the blond girl.

Signing something rapidly, she popped the top on the container and took a cookie, taking a bite with a small hum. “These must be the infamous magical Alice cookies,” Evan spoke for her, giggling lightly and signing as he spoke. “They’re our favorite cookies ever. Well, except for White Rose cookies, that is.”

Quinn pulled her car into the parking lot of Dalton with a soft smile on her face. She had really missed the Tweedles. They always made her happy, no matter what was wrong.

She looked over at the package of cookies that she had stole from Windsor’s kitchen. Kurt’s cookies were like gold according to him and these ones were meant for the twins because they hadn’t been around when the batch was made.

The smile didn’t fade the whole way into the common room. She peeked in and spotted them right away. The boys were sitting with a woman who looked a lot like them that it couldn’t be anyone but Audrey.

Evan and Ethan had been surprised that morning when Audrey had shown up, but ecstatic, of course. Signing quickly between the two of them, they made sure she was always looking at the correct Tweedle as they spoke to her about all of the tests they’d been studying for and how much classes had been making them busy recently.

As a pause in their speaking came, Audrey started signing quickly, taking advantage of their silence to speak. The two watched her easily, one her hands and the other her expression, before a set of twin giggles passed their lips, grinning wide.

The sound of someone entering the common room drew their eyes from her as they held a hand up each to ask her to pause, bright smiles crossing their faces at the sight of Quinn in the door. “Yellow Tulip!” they spoke and signed in unison. They continued to sign for a moment. Our Yellow Tulip has arrived with cookies!
